Biometric recognition vending machine system
Rhea Vendors Industries
Hal 4.0 is the industrial evolution of the ‘Hal Hospitality Area Lounge’ concept design. It shows a new graphic interface and a new lighting system, but above all it has improvements within the system that have been refined in engineering terms. This product was developed for Rhea Vendors Industries and proposes a new idea of Vending Machine where the vertical surface of the machine is a sort of interactive textured, sensitive and customisable skin.
HAL looks like an iconic object that not only dispenses food and drink, but also allows the insertion and integration of additional “interfaces” that communicate with each other and with the user in front of them. The whole becomes a large interface that also “distributes” information, communication, check-in and check-out, various bookings, loading of mp3 files, as well as other innovative functions. Hal 2.0 also makes it possible to obtain information on the products to be purchased or, for example, to wear the selected product virtually through HD cameras and video montages. The machine, through a sophisticated “biometric recognition” and “optical detection” system, is also able to test the customer’s “level of satisfaction” with the purchased product. Hal 2.0 enables up-to-date and comprehensive interactions, allowing 24-hour access to ad hoc digital content.
