This lighting project, developed for one of the most representative places in Rome, in Piazza del Campidoglio, is the first work of the great Jubilee of 2000 in Rome. A camouflaged lighting project, in which most of the sources are invisible, perspectives in which light seems to flow directly from the frames. Together with natural light the artificial one creates a diffused lighting that facilitates the vision of the works on display without shadows and reflections, a project whose focus is the absolute visual comfort of the visitor. The light design was developed considering three main elements: the type of work on display, the geometry of the architecture and the natural light sources present. The sources used are neutral light to compensate for the “warm” temperature of the natural light coming from windows and skylights.
