Milan _ Italy
Rehalta Smart Home
The project relates to a new construction-after demolition of an existing building that has long since fallen into disuse-in the Affori neighborhood of Milan, for residential use with mixed functions such as, for example, a communal Smart Working and Fitness area. The shape of the building is very regular in its floor plan and consists of nine floors, the various cantilevered balconies with different cuts, on the contrary, create an illusion of movement, visual rotation and organicity of the whole building. The soffit of these balconies is covered with wooden slats, while the parapets have varying inclinations and are made of a mixture of glass and reinforced concrete covered with ceramics.
Particular attention has been given to the lighting project, which will be differentiated, i.e. composed of both scenic and functional lighting, both of which will provide quality lighting and spatial perception of the places and the entire complex. Light invades and permeates the main facade and the soffits of various balconies, defines and highlights the architectural elements, boundaries and contours of the entire residential complex.
